Food & Beverage Minimum at City Winery Shows

Planning to join us for a show? Here’s everything you need to know about our Food & Beverage policy at City Winery shows.

💰 Do I need to meet a minimum spend?

Great music pairs beautifully with food and wine. While not required, we encourage guests to enjoy a two-item per person food & beverage minimum during the show.

While we do not require a two-item food & beverage minimum, we strongly encourage it. Most ticket revenue goes directly to the artist and production costs, so food and beverage purchases help support the staff, service, and atmosphere that make these intimate shows possible. The good news: we think you'll love the food and wine just as much as the show!

Exceptions:

  • Shows that are entirely Standing Room Only.

  • Shows where tickets are free.

🥗 What counts towards the minimum?

All purchases made at City Winery on the same day as your show can count, including:

  • Food & drinks ordered at your table or bar

  • Wine at Your Table

  • Retail wine from our shop

  • City Winery branded merchandise

Tip: If you purchase anything before taking your seat, keep your receipt and show it to your server to have it counted.

 

💳 How & when will I be charged?

This will be billed at the end of the performance.

 

🪑 Is there table service during the show?

Yes! We provide full table service in all City Winery venues during the show—no need to go to the bar.

Plus, our easy reorder technology lets you order drinks directly from your seat. A credit or debit card is required to open a tab.

 

⏰ Planning to Dine at Our Restaurant Before the Show?

If you dine at our restaurant before the show, don’t worry — your meal will count toward the Food & Beverage minimum.
Just be sure to keep your receipt and show it to a staff member when you arrive at the venue to take your seat.

 

🍷 Can I buy wine or merchandise to meet the minimum?

Absolutely! Anything you purchase on the day of your show counts toward your minimum, including:

  • Bottles of wine from our wine shop (take-home purchases)

  • City Winery merchandise

  • Any food or drinks purchased that day

Remember to keep your receipt and show it in the venue.

 

👶 What about minors?

Minors 16 and under attending a show with an adult are not subject to the per person minimum.

 

🎟️ Standing Room Only tickets

  • For strictly Standing Room Only shows, the minimum does not apply.

  • For shows with mixed seating and standing, only the seated sections have the minimum.
